Relines are very important to maintain a healthy mouth and to preserve existing bone. Bone degradation will increase once a tooth or teeth is/are removed. A reline is that procedure needed to replace the loss bone which in terms destabilizes a Denture. This procedure will reduce the rate of bone loss. Relines can be performed directly in the mouth or indirectly in the Laboratory through the aid of a functional impression.

Metal Frames have been around for decades and offer an optimal solution when few teeth are missing. The strength of metal in comparison to most plastics allows the professional to deliver an extremely comfortable appliance which is provided with added security thanks to specifically designed clasps. The comfort levels are high thanks to a thinner appliance. Metal Frames are ideal for first time Denture wearers and for any Implant Denture where higher strength levels are required.

Some Denture materials may cause an allergic reaction to certain people, when this occurs the professional may suggest a Flexible Partial as a great alternative to Cast Frames. This type of Denture does not contain methyl methacrylate or any metal and people that may be allergic to these materials will not suffer from any allergic reaction. Flexible partials may present a clasp with same color of tissues offering great retention with little or any visibility.

Repair special when a new denture is planned.

Oral Examinations are recommended every 2 years maximum. In order to help prevent and identify any issues with in the mouth at this appointments you will be screened to see suitability for all types of treatments.

Complete and Partial Dentures can be fabricated using both standard and precision procedures. Patients can choose the better solution based on their needs. Complete & Partial Dentures can be built with a metal strengthener or frame which increases the overall comfort, fit as well as the strength of these appliances.

An immediate denture is a denture that is pre-fabricated with an impression over the natural teeth. It will take our office a series of appointments before we are able to finish the Appliance.
Impressions are needed, A bite registration if needed as well as a try in whenever possible.
Once the denture has been fabricated the patient will receive the denture and now they will be ready for their extraction and for the denture placement.
The advantages of immediate dentures are vastly, however immediate dentures may not always be permanent after the mouth has healed. There could have been too many changes for the denture to continue to work. Therefore an immediate denture may not be the final product as a more permanent appliance maybe required after the healing.
This is why we recommend the immediate denture to be temporary which will eventually become a spare/emergency denture.

Implant overdentures are the most secured type of dentures on the market. They consist of 2 types which are implant supported and implant retained dentures that will have 2 or more attachments with the denture seated on tissues.

In most cases a denture may be repaired in 1 hour or less however if an impression is required they may be an additional hour of hands on work. In most cases a repair can be done in the same day. Relines can be done in the mouth in some cases without the need of an impression, however for best result and durability processing a denture with a stronger material will ensure the denture will work at maximum capacity. This is why we process all of our rebases and  relines with a 24 hour turn around.
